Current Threat: Fraudsters are contacting Keboola users through various messaging platforms with fake job offers, credit proposals, and other suspicious schemes, often claiming to be associated with Keboola.
How Keboola Communicates:
- Official channels only: We communicate through email (@keboola.com), our platform, and official support tickets
- Pre-arranged exceptions: Alternative communication methods are used ONLY when previously agreed upon with your account manager or support team
- No unsolicited outreach: We don't send job offers, investment opportunities, or financial proposals through messaging apps
Red Flags - Suspicious Messages:
- Claims to be from "Keboola HR", "Keboola Finance", or similar departments
- Job offers requiring upfront payments or sensitive documents
- Requests for login credentials, API keys, or banking information
- "Exclusive opportunities" or "limited time offers"
- Contact through messaging apps without prior arrangement
- Pressure to act quickly or maintain secrecy
If You Receive Suspicious Messages:
- Do NOT respond or share any information
- Do NOT click links or download attachments
- Block the sender immediately
- Forward screenshots to security@keboola.com
- Verify directly through official Keboola channels if uncertain
