Account Executive - Martech
Remote North America, West Coast (Canada or US) - (Vancouver, BC or Seattle, WA preferred)

Now, we are looking to expand beyond Europe and build out a new sales team in North America, although we already have customers in Canada and the United States. We are looking for sharp talent that wants to be a part of something bigger as our organization continues to scale and provide digital transformation to our customers. This role will be focused on selling to the marketing technology (Martech) and advertising technology (Adtech) industries, and positioning Keboola as Powered By solution.

We are looking for stellar Account/Sales Executives that want to make an impact in a growing SaaS-based data analytics company. You will partner with our CEO and Sales team to build out theNorth America market, create sales playbooks, POCs and execute sales strategy to meet and exceed your goals. Ideally we want Account Execs that are strategic in nature but that aren’t afraid to pick up the phone. There is unlimited potential in this role as our company is scaling quickly, including stock options.

What you’ll do

  • Achieve sales quotas on a quarterly and annual basis by developing a sales strategy in the
    allocated territory with a target prospect list of Mar-tech and advertising agencies. Identify
    and qualify opportunities for Keboola’s DataOps platform to solve customer Data problems.
  • Define, confirm and communicate the differentiated value of Keboola to the customer at
    both the technical and business level.
  • Arrange and conduct Executive and CxO discussions and positioning meetings. Doing touch
    points with the customer.
  • Establish Keboola’s ability to deliver business value through Proof of Technology, and Proof
    of Concept engagements.
  • Understand the formal and informal buying process in the customer's environment.
    Effectively work in a process driven sales cycle.
  • Identify the customer approvers, decision makers, and influencers, and develop strategies
    for each to mitigate risk and increase deal confidence.
  • Manage the closing process including negotiations, terms and conditions, and procurement
    activities.
  • Develop a 3x-5x 12-month pipeline of qualified opportunities to meet and exceed your quota
    targets.
  • Use Salesforce.com to maintain a current and accurate pipeline of your early stage, upside,
    and forecast deals.
  • Consistently communicate and brainstorm with your closest peers - Sales team, Sales
    Engineers and Customer Success Manager and extended team around all aspects of
    account and opportunity status & development.
  • Direct accountability to meet or exceed your quarterly and annual sales quota on a
    consistent basis.
  • Coordinate Sales and Marketing activities with Marketing (events, campaigns).
  • Be the trusted advisor to the customer by understanding their existing and future Data
    needs.

What we look for

  • Technical Mindset and strong passion for DATA & Data Science
  • At least 2-3 years of experience selling SaaS products/services B2B, ideally with Martechs,
    advertising agencies or similar businesses.
  • Experience developing relationships with executive leaders within and across all
    departments in SMB customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to close deals and meet quota.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage customer executive relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles including the ability to provide
    coordination and direction to your extended team.
  • Successful background in qualifying opportunities while positioning data technology.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Desire and demonstrated success in a collaborative work environment working cross
    functionally; i.e. Sales Engineer.
  • Outside sales experience with data processing workflows, data analytics, Business
    Intelligence, data automation.


The skills and experience you need to have

  • Speak fluent English and be based in Canada or the United States.
  • Have 2-3+ years' experience as an Account/Sales Executive selling SaaS B2B
  • Have strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify and drive 'win-win' revenue
    opportunities within an existing account base.
  • Have an insatiable thirst for knowledge and development and the desire to grow in your role
    and with the company.
  • Are technically savvy with a deep desire to build and support relationships and expand the
    product use within a customer environment.
  • Possess good judgement with consultative, problem solving, and escalation resolution skills.
  • Daily working experience with Salesforce, Google products, Slack, Zoom, etc.

    opinion-makers, industry associations, etc.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders and be responsible for their movement along the “grid”.
  • Ability to create “white glove” wow moments that are very personalized and help individuals
    to grow, understand what they want and help them on their journey.
  • Be able to think in “networks” and how to connect them and the value they bring to each
    other and apply our offering to it.
  • Can research customers problems beforehand and strategize the best course of actions to
    close the client and help them to solve their challenges.
